Still lots of fabric remnants left over, but it seems a pity to throw them away? Be creative and make your own design with Filmoplast H 54
Step 1
Cut the outer fabric in the shape of the place mat.
Step 2
Use Bondaweb to appliqué a round piece of fabric in the centre.
Step 3
Draw the desired floral pattern onto Solufix and peel off the film.
Step 4
Place Solufix on the right side of the place mat fabric and press it on.
Step 5
Line the wrong side with Stitch-n-Tear and sew around the flowers with a narrow zigzag stitch.
Step 6
Then wash out the Solufix.
Step 7
Cut out batting 246 and the backing in the shape of the place mat, place all the layers on top of one another and sew them together with a 0.5 cm seam.
Step 8
Sew bias-cut tape around the edge of the work.
